We run events both virtually online via Zoom and also in person in various locations around the UK. Some of our events are open to non-members to attend. If you are interested in attending one of our public events please take a look below at what is coming up.

LGBTQ+ Network Chairs Screening & Networking Event | Pride Month 2026

InvestingIN LGBTQ+ and British LGBT Awards are delighted to invite you to a special Pride Month networking and film event hosted by Universal Music Group as part of SaFFlicks Pride Film Festival 2026 in collaboration with IntermediaUK and LFEST.

This evening has been created specifically for LGBTQ+ network chairs and community leaders in response to the ongoing request for more opportunities to connect with peers across organisations, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Alongside dedicated networking time, guests will also enjoy a curated programme of award-winning sapphic short films from SaFFlicks, celebrating authentic LGBTQ+ storytelling from the UK and USA. The programme includes:

  • Lez Be Honest: A chaotic comedy where a simple coming out dinner spirals into absolute disaster involving anxiety pills, nudity, unconscious parents and a kitchen fire.
  • Playground: A relationship drama exploring what happens when two women are finally forced to define their undefined connection.
  • Trapped: A tense psychological drama following two neighbours stuck in an elevator as hidden truths begin to surface.
  • What Friends Are For: A bold queer comedy about friendship, intimacy and breaking down assumptions around sex and sexual health.
  • Why We Pride: A moving documentary exploring community, belonging and the impact of Pride through the voices behind Southend Pride.

We know Pride Month can often become incredibly busy for network leads, so this event is intended to offer something different: an opportunity to take an evening for yourselves, connect with fellow chairs, and enjoy great entertainment together at the start of Pride season.

Networking throughout the evening until 9:00pm

Please note that capacity is strictly limited to 24 guests per screening to ensure an intimate and meaningful experience.
